MMMELT

Sounds and images pulsate, vibrate, and undulate throught the mmmind of mmmelt. The sounds reverberate from widely disparate genres, though mmmostly snippets of house, punk, hip hop, ambient, noise, worldbeat, folk, and jazz, with seemingly random spoken words that express crassness, banality and intellectual pomposity. Visual feedback layers itself over old movies, skate videos, scientific documentation, computer graphics, and myriad natural and imagined textures. All these jumbled bits are heated until they fuse and become a new temporal mmmass. The approach is not fresh, but it's always sticky.

Mmmelt is a piece of meat
a piece of fruit, a Spongefork,
miscelaneous software, electronic synthesizers, drum machines, video mixers, dvd and cassette players and whatever cheap or obscure a/v cutlery that finds it's way into our kitchen;
plus a smattering of various special guest chefs.
